This elegant Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar from the 1940s represents one of the most charming examples
of full calendar wristwatches produced during the golden era of Swiss watchmaking.
Introduced in the 1940s, triple calendar watches quickly gained popularity thanks to their practicality
and the beautifully balanced dial layout. The symmetrical arrangement with day and month in apertures,
a peripheral pointer date and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock creates a harmonious composition
that has become iconic for this complication.
The 18K yellow gold case measuring 36 mm is enhanced by highly desirable teardrop lugs, one of the most
elegant stylistic elements found in Jaeger-LeCoultre watches of the period. The contrast between the warm
gold case and the black dial gives the watch a particularly refined and striking presence.
Powering the watch is the manual winding Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 484, a reliable and finely crafted
movement reflecting the manufacture’s long tradition of technical excellence.
Presented in excellent overall condition, this timepiece is further distinguished by its provenance,
having been part of the Watch Museum VOGA collection in Japan, known for its carefully curated historical watches.
A highly attractive vintage watch combining classic elegance, historical significance and one of the most
beloved complications among collectors.
