We are pleased to present an exceptional collector’s piece: the first generation of the Longines Conquest
in its most precious configuration, crafted entirely in 18K rose gold.
Introduced in 1954, the Conquest was the first named collection in the Longines catalogue, marking the
beginning of a structured model line strategy for the brand. It embodied the concept of a modern wristwatch
collection, combining durability, technical innovation and refined Swiss elegance.
Reference 9001 represents the luxury version of this inaugural series — a solid gold automatic wristwatch
intended for a discerning clientele and today highly sought after for its rarity and historical significance.
The 35 mm case offers elegant proportions, sharp lines and a warm presence on the wrist. The screw-down
caseback retains its original enamel medallion, an emblematic hallmark of early Conquest models, preserved
here in very fine condition.
Powering the watch is the in-house Longines calibre 19AS, a precise and durable automatic movement. The
original dial with faceted applied indexes and dauphine hands perfectly expresses the refined aesthetic of
the late 1950s, while the domed plexiglass crystal enhances its authentic vintage character.
Particularly noteworthy is the completeness of this example: accompanied by its original box, original
warranty and original buckle, it represents a rare combination of condition, integrity and collectability.
A rose gold Longines Conquest that embodies stylistic purity, manufacture mechanics and strong historical identity.
