A refined and rare Longines chronograph reference 6075, manufactured in 1953, and one of the most elegant and collectible creations of the Saint-Imier manufacture, which has been crafting timepieces since 1832. The 37 mm 18k pink gold case, featuring a beautifully domed crown and two round pushers, pairs harmoniously with an elegant 18k pink gold “rice grain” bracelet, reflecting Longines’ timeless aesthetic of balanced proportions and understated sophistication. Its silvered dial is clean and well-preserved, enhanced by an outer tachymeter scale, applied triangular indexes, and luminous alpha hands. At 12 o’clock, the applied winged hourglass logo stands out — a historic trademark first registered in 1889 and today recognized as the oldest logo still in continuous use in its original form among those recorded by the World Intellectual Property Organization. At its heart lies the exceptional Longines caliber 30CH, a direct descendant of the 13ZN and a masterpiece of chronograph engineering, equipped with a flyback function. Renowned for its precision and elegance, it represents the pinnacle of Longines’ mid-century mechanical innovation. Accompanied by the Longines Extract from the Archives, confirming production and sale on March 25th, 1953 to Ostersetzer, the historical Longines agent for Italy, this timepiece comes in excellent overall condition, complete with its original box and documentation. A rare and highly desirable collector’s piece that perfectly embodies Longines’ enduring legacy of craftsmanship, precision, and refined design.
