The Omega Automatic Chronomètre Honeycomb Dial reference 2517 is one of the most fascinating examples
of the brand’s 1950s bumper automatic production. Fitted with the rare calibre 352 — also used in early
Constellation models — this watch represents an important phase in Omega’s technical evolution.
The 18K yellow gold case with elegant claw foot lugs remains in excellent condition, preserving sharp edges
and showing only minimal signs of wear, offering a warm and refined presence on the wrist.
The original honeycomb dial creates a sophisticated sense of depth through the contrast between the
textured central field and the outer minute track. All indexes are applied and three-dimensional,
finely executed to capture the light beautifully. The hands, applied markers and Omega logo retain
outstanding brilliance and are free from tarnish.
The copper-plated calibre 352, featuring Omega’s characteristic bumper winding system, has been fully
disassembled and cleaned. Its internal condition is excellent.
A refined and historically significant timepiece that combines mechanical charm with authentic vintage
Omega identity and strong collector appeal.
