First serially produced watch with a truly integrated bracelet, patented by Pierre Moinat in 1964
This Omega Constellation ref. BA 368 is an important piece of watch design history, featuring an 18K yellow gold tonneau-shaped case paired with one of the earliest patented integrated bracelets, created by Pierre Moinat in 1964. This architecture established a new design language that would influence later generations of luxury sports watches. The watch is in exceptional condition: unpolished, retaining its full original finishing. The dial is untouched and original, with applied markers and tritium-filled hands. It is powered by the automatic Calibre 1001, offering a 48-hour power reserve and known for reliability. With its plexy crystal, screw-down caseback and date window at 3 o’clock, the watch measures 33 x 39.5 mm with a thickness of 10 mm. The full-gold construction results in a substantial 140-gram weight, adding to its presence and exclusivity. A superbly preserved Constellation, ideal for collectors who value originality and integrated design heritage.
