Extremely rare configuration, the only known example with this specific setup

This extraordinary Royal Oak Mini Jumbo reference 14840BC represents one of the rarest and most remarkable pieces ever produced by Audemars Piguet. Manufactured in 2003, the watch features a 37 mm 18K white gold case, a size often referred to by collectors as “Mini Jumbo” due to its proportions closely resembling the legendary Royal Oak Jumbo while maintaining a slightly more compact diameter.

The iconic octagonal bezel—part of the revolutionary design created by Gérald Genta—is set with 32 factory-set princess-cut diamonds, beautifully enhancing the geometry of the Royal Oak case and creating a striking contrast with the model’s characteristic brushed and polished finishes.

The dial is entirely set with pavé diamonds, giving the watch an exceptional brilliance. The hour markers are represented by 10 round emeralds, adding a refined and vibrant touch of color. The applied AP logo at 12 o’clock completes the dial’s elegant composition.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre 2225, a reliable and finely crafted movement consistent with the high standards of the manufacture.

This example is accompanied by an Audemars Piguet Extract from the Archives, confirming its production details. According to available information, it represents the only known example to appear with this particular configuration, making it one of the rarest Royal Oak watches ever encountered.

A truly exceptional timepiece combining the iconic Royal Oak design with remarkable high-jewelry craftsmanship and extreme rarity.
