An attractive 1950s Breguet Type XX, a stainless-steel aviation chronograph belonging to one of the most
emblematic families of French military timepieces.
The case features the characteristic fluted rotating bezel, pump-style chronograph pushers and oversized
winding crown. Its black two-register dial displays large Arabic numerals and luminous hands with an
appealing cream-coloured patina, giving the watch a distinctive vintage appearance.
The watch is powered by the Valjoux calibre 22, a manually wound column-wheel chronograph movement
featuring the celebrated flyback function, allowing the chronograph to be reset and restarted instantly
with a single press.
The case back bears several engraved markings, including “BREGUET TYPE 20” and additional numerical
inscriptions, contributing to the historical character of this example.
A highly appealing collector’s chronograph, combining functional design with the unmistakable heritage
of 1950s aviation watches.
