The Cartier Tank Réversible is one of the most fascinating and uncommon interpretations
of the iconic Tank line. Produced in limited numbers during the 1970s, this “single-sided”
version features a reversible case which, when rotated, reveals a solid yellow gold
caseback designed to protect the dial and crystal.
This large-size example retains all the Maison’s signature elements: a white dial signed
“Paris,” a railway minute track, black Roman numerals and blued steel hands, perfectly
embodying Cartier’s timeless elegance. The crown is set with the iconic blue cabochon,
a distinctive hallmark of the brand.
The manual winding mechanical movement, based on a Jaeger calibre, ensures reliability
and refined watchmaking quality.
The watch is fitted with a Cartier-signed lizard leather strap and paired with a rare
18K yellow gold deployant clasp, enhancing both comfort and collectability.
Preserved in excellent overall condition, this timepiece combines refinement, rarity
and strong collector appeal in a single elegant design.
