The Omega Cosmic Triple Date Moonphase reference 2471/1 from the 1950s represents one of the most attractive
and complete configurations of Omega’s immediate post-war production. Introduced in 1947 and remaining in
the catalogue until 1956, the Cosmic line is admired for its refined mechanics and harmonious dial layout.
The 35 mm stainless steel case with snap-on back offers classic and highly wearable proportions. The original
dial, preserved in beautiful condition, displays day and month windows across the upper half, while the lower
section features a moonphase indication integrated within the oversized small seconds register.
The outer blue monthly date track, paired with the blued steel central date hand, adds both vibrancy and depth
to the overall composition.
Powered by the manual-winding Omega calibre 381, fully checked by our watchmaker, the movement remains
mechanically sound and representative of Omega’s technical standards of the era.
A particularly charming and desirable timepiece, combining classic calendar complications with
unmistakable mid-century vintage appeal.
